The hotel is being refurbished so you get quite a lot of noise from the building site early in the morning especially if your room overlooks the building site. Will be fantastic once finished.
Top Tip
Luas tram is brilliant and an easy way to get into the centre from the hotel. Tour buses are a must, they are very entertaining and a perfect way to get around all the main attractions.

some of the staff on reception were very friendly and help full,some were to busy to even crack a smile.

Clean, comfortable rooms, staff were very helpful. Great breakfast! Would recommend! Within walking distance of Pheonix park and Dublin Zoo. Temple Bar 15 minutes walk or short bus ride. Tram runs right outside front door to O'connell Street for great shopping.
Top Tip
Pub called Nancy Hands 2 minute walk away, great food and very large selection of spirits!

MY wife and myself were very happy with the service we recieved at ASHLING HOTEL. food very good. EXELLENT. HOTEL LOCATION JUST RIGHT.

TIP'S FOR OTHER TRAVELLERS.
this is for the wifes keep your hand's on your purse while your on (hop on hop off bus)my wife had her purse stolen.

Hotel in good location near river, quiet area, 20 min walk to city centre, or 10 min by tram. 2 tram stations within 3 min walk from hotel. Tram passes right outside the Hotel, but the noise wasn't a problem. Run every 10 mins, and about every 20 mins at night. handy for getting to & from hotel.
Top Tip
Good selection of food on hotel menu. Not many restaurants near hotel, good choice in City Centre. Hop on Hop off Tour bus stops near Hotel, handy for travelling around the city, or take tram into City. Tram stop within 3 min. walk from hotel.
