This hotel is close to a stop on the route.Short walk to the shops & sights.
Top Tip
Go to Temple Bar for music at night; Oliver St John Gogarty good from 16:00 to about 02:00 -it IS busy but you get served quickly enough. Wide choice of eating out from cheap to expensive; always good to eat. The tour bus is a good buy as you can break the journey repeatedly over 24h & it covers most of the interesting places in Dublin.

Our room, 111, was on the front of hotel and a lot of noise was heard from the street making it difficult to sleep. Also a lack of window nets meant privacy was difficlut without having curtains closed as tall buildings opposite. Shower difficult to control. Apart from this was pleased with general hotel facilities and service.
Heard that some guests had thefts from rooms which was worrying and would therefore question security. Good location only 10 mins walk to O'Connell street and close to airport bus services.

Stayed 1 night only. Good location, and a clean room.
Top Tip
Guinness v good in Madigans on O'Connell St - better than at the Guinness Storehouse ! Open-air bus trip well worth the money.

Good location only a few minutes walk to city centre, I had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. Plentiful, good quality breakfast, good value for money. Exceeded my expectations.
Top Tip
Take the green and cream City Tour Bus and visit Kilmainham Jail.

Excellent location, you can walk everywhere. Its very central. Staff very helpful. Great breakfast. Will stay again.

You must have a drink in the Temple bar area.

The room which we were put in had NO soundproofing from the traffic outside the hotel (the double glazed windows didn't shut properly). Traffic noise continued througout the night and was unbearable. Luckily they changed our room for us at the back of the hotel which was much quieter. The breakfast was good but the service was very slow. It seemed that there was not enough staff for the amount of diners. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
Top Tip
But go to Gallaghers Boxty House restaurant in Temple Bar. The food is fantastic and the service is second to none!
