This hotel is convenient for central Dublin. The restaurant on the ground floor does good breakfast (extra coffee being offered would have been good) - minus point (for me) was a 1st floor room at the front which was noisy and looked into by top deck bus passengers!

Excellent location for pooring out of the pubs in temple bar and into your bed at the end of the night!
It is quite noisy but it didn't stop us from sleeping.
The room was comfortable but basic

We would definitely stay at Eliza Lodge again, although there was a lot of night traffic noise.

Guinness Storehouse a must.
The Porterhouse do great burgers and has a fantastic atmosphere.
Temple Bar pub again great atmosphere and music.
Arlington Hotel for a traditional irish evening with music and irish dancers, and its just across the river from Eliza Lodge.

Ideally situated with the River Liffey to the front and Temple Bar to the rear and to say it was roadside, it wasn't noisy at night. Had breakfast and evening meal in Eliza Blues and couldn't fault either. Excellent choice, would deffo stay there again.

Nice hotel,great location.
We were happy with the hotel.
Only bad things were the residents 15% discount in the Eliza Blue restaurant only applies to the al a carte menu, but it did not say this in the guests info pack. The safe did not work and the keycard stopped working and had to be reset.
Would still recommend the Eliza Lodge as a good place to base your Dublin break
