Check in time is 3o' clock.As we were travelling with a baby we would liked to have been able to check in a bit earlier around 1 o' clock but that wasn't allowed.We found this quite inconvenient.
We forgot to make dinner reservations for that evening and when we visited the restaurant that night we were told it was fully booked even though the restaurant was half empty.After some enquiries,another member of staff informed us that the restaurant only has enough staff on duty to cater for reservations made so that was why they told us they were fully booked even though there were loads of empty tables.Again we were travelling with a baby and it was pouring rain the same night so it was extremely inconvenient to have to leave the hotel to try to find somewhere else to eat. It's supposed to be a 3 to 4 star hotel and on checking in we felt someone could have reminded us about dinner reservations, especially as they have this policy of having limited numbers of staff on duty.We have never yet stayed in any hotel where we failed to be able to get dinner. We felt very disappointed about this.Ok we should have made reservations but it slipped our minds.And as I said we have never encountered this situation before where one couldn't get to eat in a restaurant in a hotel where they are resident for the night.We especially felt under the circumstances (pouring rain, young baby) they could have maybe stretched themselves a little.

room was small and very stuffy.opened window but not much dif.der was an over all "smell"once u went upstairs,on landing and rooms. not very nice. fantastic location. cudn't b better

Top Tip
If you are not sure what attractions you want to see whilst in Dublin, the first thing that you should do is to take the City Bus Tour which is excellent.

The only thing that marred this experience was that there must have been a generator near my room on either this or another building and I was kept awake by the noise of it.

GREAT LOCATION FOR SHOPPING ON O CONNELL ST. BREAKFAST IS GREAT, LOTS OFF VARIETY. LOUNGE AREA IS LOVELY AND VERY RELAXED.

LA PIZIA RESTRAUNT AFEW DOORS DOWN IS GREAT AND THEY SERVE BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND EVENING MEALS. GREAT VALUE.

Probably one of the nicer hotels in Dublin, the location, O'connell Street is OK but seems a little run down in places.
Only about 5 mins from the River Liffey and Temple Bar.
Also, the sightseeing tour buses set off from just outside the hotel which was handy.
Top Tip
Temple Bar is always buzzing with people and lots od things to do, but there aren't any Irish people there, mostly tourists and foreign service staff.
Better off exploring further into Dublin to find the real Irish people.
