As I wanted to visit Christchurch Cathedral it couuldn't have been closer. Very close to the Temple Bars area and a hive of activity

Room was not very good, old and lack of up to date facilities, but clean. Have stayed there before, just not booked through you and had a much better room for a similar rate. Famous Temple Bar pub within a short walking distance.

Top Tip

Bus from airport very cheap at 6 euros for a single journey, but drops off at an odd place, in the middle of the main shopping area. Lugging suitcases through the crowds was not great. Get a taxi for about 30 euros.

The inability to open the windows more than 2 inches during the hot weather was terrible. No window in the bathroom didn't help either.

Top Tip

I visit Ireland quite often an there is lots to see and do in Dublin. Lovely meals in Luigi Malones - Temple Bar. Fabulous cocktails in Cafe En Seine - but very pricey

Good location, clean rooms. Friendly reception staff but bar staff unorganised. Shame the bar closed at 1.30pm and no coffee available after 10.30pm.

The only disappointment was the room. We were put on the street side of the hotel and it was extremely noisy. The room had no air conditioning and if we left the windows open you couldn't hear yourself think. If you closed the window it was so hot you couldn't sleep. The TV volume was pre-set so low that it was almost impossible to hear and no adjustment could be made. I would recomment the hotel to others but caution them to see the room location and air conditioning before accepting. I do not understand a 4 star rating as this hotel should be a 3 star at best considering the condition of the rooms.

Top Tip

The tour of the Guinness brewery was excellent but be sure you do it first thing when it opens. The open air tour bus is not worth the money.
