We asked for a room at the higher level but hotel couldn't offer one. There was noise from traffic as road was busy.

Guiness tour excellent. Open top bus tours very good.

this hotel has a very good quality reception area and bar restaurant area however the quality of the rooms has alot to be desire . the double bed booked was infact two twin beds pushed together , the bath room fittings were either loose or has large chips out of them . the painting of the room was to a low standard with poor lighting.when i complained and asked for the managers comments to be e mailed to me -this has been ignored . i will not be booking with best wesern hotels again in the future

In our room some repair work had been done, plastering and not finished off.The view from the rooms windows was a lot to be desired.At breakfast you were not given any chose of milk and when I ask for skimmed milk I was told in a very abrubt tone that there was no other milk.
I HAD BOOKED WELL IN ADVANCE AND WAS NOT TOLD THAT A PARTY WAS GOING ON NEAR OUR ROOM WHEN WE CHECKED IN.wE WERE KEPT AWAKE UNTILL 1.30AM i COMPLAINED IN THE MORNING AND GOT NO RFESPONSE JUST SORRY. NOT GOOD ENOUGH THEY SHOULD HAVE WARNED US OR MOVED US. THE HOTEL WAS NOT A CHEAP HOTEL AND I WOULD OF EXPECTED BETTER TREATMENT WHICH ON THE REST OFF OUR HOLIDAY IN B&B WE GOT.

Hotel was fine and good value. We were on a rugby trip so I didn't return to the hotel until after 12pm. Unfortunately my wife went back to the room earlier and the noise from the function room stopped her from sleeping. This would only affect you if you were staying on the first floor.

The hotel was situated just a few minutes from everything and the bus stop for the airport and for the bus tours was just outside the hotel entrance.

Excellent location, just a short walk away from the Temple Bar area. Stands for 'Hop on Hop off' buses & Aiport buses are directly outside the hotel entrance. Lovely breakfast.

We stayed sat night only, great location for a short break, you can easily walk around the city from the hotel, staff helpful, able to leave bags early am and collect late pm the following day. There was 3 functions on the sat we stayed and we were on the 1st floor we heard no noise from our rooms. All in all an enjoyable stay.

visit burdocks for fish and chips!! south of the river!!!

We didn't manage to sleep through excess noise in hotel. On complaint the hotel has offered a replacement night. Good service. 5 minute walk from Temple Bar and round the corner to the shops. Airport bus stops opposite and picks you back upfrom outside the hotel.
