This hotel is housed in beautifully restored buildings formerly occupied by the Allied Irish Bank. The lobby is grand and impressive with opulent marble pillars and tall mahogany doorways. Open fireplaces add an extra feeling of warmth and welcome. Every guest room offers the new Westin 'Heavenly' beds, which feature layer upon layer of cosy down bedding, providing guests with maximum comfort in which to enjoy their stay. The rooms are furnished in rich, warm colours and have a feel of traditional sophistication. The hotel's main restaurant, "The Exchange", is light and airy and the decor is 1930s Art Deco style. The cuisine is modern international using Irish ingredients. The hotel also boasts the "Atrium Lounge" which features palm trees and a glass roof, offering an elegant oasis in the middle of the city centre. In addition guests may also choose to enjoy a relaxing drink in the Mint Bar, which provides intimate surroundings amongst the nooks and crannies of the old banking vaults. In general, this is an hugely impressive property that will provide guests with lasting memories to be treasured.
