I felt the hotel was a bit tired looking and not at all 'boutique'. It felt like a travel lodge!

We were given a business class room at first which is not what we had booked, it was tiny. Breakfast was a disaster, no one to show you to a table and very little room, had to share a high table with another couple. Also at breakfast large gallons of orange juice and boxes of cereal were visable which i would consider unacceptable in a 4 star hotel. Staff were very rude also, and didnt seem to care if we were unhappy with the situation.

The evening meal at the hotel was complimentary as there were problems with the order and the delivery. We were happy with the way things were handled.

The natural history museum is currently closed for refurbishment.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Temple Bar next to lively pubs & clubs. Unfortunately our room was on 1st floor and we were kept awake by loud music till late in the hotel bar on a Sunday evening! The hotel was very clean, rooms are bit bland & characterless though, staff were ok although they nearly made us pay for breakfast even though it was included in our rate. Overall hotel was ok, but wouldn't particularly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, smack bang in the middle of temple bar. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.
