Great hotel apart from the phone in our room not working and our bathroom looked like there had been a flood from the room above as the paint was flaking off the ceiling. This hotel is in a brilliant location would definitely recommend it if you are wanting to go to boomerangs as its a 2 second walk!

Great hotel in a great location but with no facilities. The room we were given wasn't great (small and very dirty bathroom) but when we complained we were moved rooms immediately without a fuss.
Good bar area in the evenings, busy but quite select in the clientelle they allow into the Hotel (no hen parties / stag parties etc.).

A magnified make up mirror in the room would be great for girls- but the professional hairdryer was fab! Can be noisy at night ( to be expected).
In the heart of temple bar- couldn't be better for revellers.

We stayed in the Morgan over the new year period, its situated right in temple bar which was ideal for what we wanted, however the hotel facilities left alot to be desired, no residents lounge, the hotel bar is a public bar/disco with no option for a quiet drink with friends, the hotel staff seemed a bit surly, could be something to do with the fact none of them were Irish. The rooms are a bit spartan, the shower wouldn,t run hot and the safe was broken.

The staff and the public areas of the hotel were nice. However peeling paint, a chipped sink with a plug that doesn't work, shower that drips all night in the bathroom, faulty TV and various holes in the wall in the bedrooms means we won't be staying here again

The window in our first room was broken and couldn't be closed. The window in our second room was also broken (you could close it but not lock it) and the safe didn't work either. The bathrooms

Gallagher's Boxty House on Temple bar is excellent. The Temple bar pub has excellent music. Queen of Tarts cake shop is heavenly. The Guinness Storehouse is a must see and the Kilmainham Gaol tour is very good.
