The hotel will be undergoing renovations soon to upgrade the 72 slightly old fashioned guestrooms. At present, the decoration of the bedrooms is simple and slightly old fashioned but perfectly adequate. All the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and feature double glazed windows to minimise the noise of the lively surrounding area, though only 40 of them have air conditioning. One floor is smoking and the other four are non-smoking. The majority of the rooms are twins and doubles. The single rooms of the hotel have single beds and en suite bathrooms with shower only. The hotel also has 4 triple rooms and 1 family room available.

No hot water in evening two days running... No heating in two of our friends rooms. ... i showered 5 or 6 times whilst at the hotel and only once was the water warm, the rest of the time I had cold showers... after my three nights there they had still not replaced the broken bulb in my room ... Very comfy bed... power shower and warm towels... Room facilities were excellent... Bathroom a bit small with no shelves to put anything on but clean... Bathroom in particular - taps loose, shower difficult to turn off, grouting dirty. ... seems to be a big difference in room sizes ... we were lucky to have a big one (our friends were not). ... was very quiet in our room.... Room was fine. ... the rooms were very tiny and dark,... extremely hot and very noisy... Noise could be a problem (depending on the bedroom)...
