Our Review

Part of the Capital chain, the Grafton has an excellent location close to Graton Street, & 5-10 minutes walk from Temple Bar. Bedrooms are clean, traditionally decorated & well equipped. There is a lively bar & nightclub in the hotel, so not a good choice for those wanting a quiet relaxing retreat.

Hotel Facilities:

Car Parking ... The closest car park is the public one across at the Brooks Hotel, which is just 30 seconds away. Cost for 24 hours is 20 Euro.

Nightclub ... There's also a nightclub is in the basement. Displaying a Moulin Rouge theme, it is decorated with velvet pink and red sofas. It has 2 bars and plays chart music. It closes at 3.00 am and last orders are at 2.30 am. Breakfast served on the 1st floor of the hotel from 7.00 am till 10.30 am (or until 11.00 am during the weekends).

Restaurant ... Fully refurbished in 2003, the hotel's restaurant and bar is called 'Break for the Border'. The restaurant features Mexican and Spanish decoration. In the main bar area the predominant colour scheme is purple and there are plenty of pool tables. 'Break for the Border' opens at 5.00 pm and stays open until 11.30pm on weekdays. On Thursday and Friday it stays open until 2.30 am. There's a DJ playing music (60's, 70's, 80's and 90's hits) from Thursday till Sunday.

     Nightclub was busy, loud and very friendly....             some people may be put off by the nightclub downstairs which closes at 4am...             the nightclub was good too...             The hotel dining room is part of a bar / nightclub...             The bar below is fab, even early door....             great bonus is the bars, clubs and free pool associated with the hotel!...             I was surprised to note the bar was not open until 6.00p.m....              pity there's a night club downstairs ...             Parking, had to request help at reception, where and how....              Excellent food...             the hotel's restaurants were very nicely presented also...             there was a bar and nightclub directly underneath...             food was exellant...             the restaurant bar is also a nightclub on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays ...
