The location is excellent on Dublins main Street. The Hotel itself is nice but the rooms dont just do the 4 star status justice. The bar staff are some of the worst I have ever seen and this being a 4 star hotel makes it even worse. The reception staff are very helpfull and overall was an ok experience.

This hotel seems to be living of its name, we had the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel - the room was basic - bathroom Very old fashioned and a door that rattle all night long it seemed to be not sealed or loose as everytime a door in the corridor opened it shook. and as if that wasn't bad enough if someone in an adjoining room turned on their taps the pipes squealed and this could only be surmounted by a lorry load of builders banging and drilling outside our window at 7.30am -It was our first night away from our baby and I wish I had stayed home I would have got more rest! And FYI don't order anything from the bar their prices are daylight robbery, I ordered a white wine and I got the smallest glass of wine for 6.65!!!!!!! What a joke - will never be staying in this hotel again.

I would recommend this hotel to those who simply want a room in a central position and do not care about anything else.
The restaurant is not always open and the bar brasserie is not an adequate substitute.
Once again I have the feeling that internet booking gets you one of the inferior rooms, worst view(like a brick wall) or position (like seven corridors away).

The hotel is in a fantastic location but the rooms are terrible. You are confronted by an open cupboard holding a ironing board and a safe (on the floor) - an eyesore. Very expensive UK L 22 for breakfast!!!
