Bar ... The North Star Hotel also has a traditionally styled Irish bar called McCoy’s. This venue features wooden tables and benches under an arched ceiling surrounded by grey brick walls and plasma screens showing all the latest sports fixtures. The bar features Ireland's traditional beers on draught, while its classic menu offers traditional Irish food served daily, as well as other options such pasta, poultry and beef specialities. After the smoking ban, a beer garden was added to McCoy’s for the smokers’ comfort. It is not only covered but also fully heated. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday the McCoy’s lounge offers live entertainment from 9.30pm to midnight (9.00pm to 11.00pm on Sunday.)

Car parking ... The hotel has parking spaces next to the hotel, the rate is 7 euros per night.

Restaurant ... The Bianconi Restaurant is open for dinner and serves both international and traditional Irish cuisine. It is decorated in a simple but tasteful style, with brown leather seats, crisp white linen tablecloths and a red carpet to match the walls. The restaurant is open from 6.00pm to 9.45pm Monday to Thursday, from 5.00pm to 10.00pm Friday and Saturday, and from 6.00pm to 10.00pm on Sunday.
